Services Karma Geek Can Provide
From KarmaGeek
I think starting out small in terms of some packaged options that we could obtain and install for smaller nonprofits would be a good idea. Additionally, some training would be important as well.
- Hosted Mail - a small organization gets a lot more credibility when they aren't using their personal yahoo or aol account to request support.
- Currently, both Google (http://www.google.com/a/) and AOL offer custom domain hosted e-mail. AOL also currently has free domain registration for e-mail (although we need to check and see who owns the domain and if it can be used for web hosting).
- Amazon Associate Program - Set them up with their own Associate ID and also guide them to register with Givezilla or any of the other established programs based on their mission. Provide some guidance on integration
- Salesforce Foundation Donation- Not as simple as the other ones to implement or to use, but for organizations that are growing, this could be a good thing to get them started for future growth. I believe that they will donate 10 licenses to a qualifying nonprofit.
- Other - ask them what they do and come up with a solution from your experience. If they want to publicize their events - direct them to eventful.com. The possibilities are endless.
- Typepad or Blogger solutions -
- Monetary Donations - helping them to register themselves with Network for Good, Amazon Payments, Paypal, etc.
